Can you please specify how long a proposal will be binding for?

As per section 3.5 in the RFP document, respondents are expected to make best efforts to offer Proposals with firm pricing not subject to any revisions during the evaluation, short-list selection, and IRP process.

How many acres are available at the FB Culley 2 site for new project use?

There are approximately 13 acers that exist on site that could be used. There is additional acreage that is being investigated for the potential of reusage. CenterPoint will not know the additional acreage for at least 6 months.

What is the interconnection voltage for F.B. Culley Unit 2?

The interconnection voltage is 69 kV. Note that MISO requires any Replacement Generating Facility to connect to the Transmission System at the same voltage level at the interconnecting substation as the Existing Generating Facility.

Would CenterPoint consider a BESS project at the FB Culley 2 site?

As per section 8.0 in the ASRFP Document, CenterPoint is interested in generator replacement bids that can reuse the FB Culley 2 Interconnection Agreement with MISO for up to 90MW as the 2022/2023 IRP calls for the retirement of FB Culley 2 in 2025.

What is the minimum and maximum capacity CenterPoint is looking for in the ASRFP?

CenterPoint does not have a total MW capacity amount identified. Your understanding of the minimum capacity amounts for wind, solar, and batteries is correct. The only other limit stated in the RFP is the 90MW maximum allowed at the F.B. Culley 2 Generating Station.

Is the RFP open to COD after 3/1/2028?

CenterPoint has a preferred COD of 2028 but does not limit proposals for projects that cannot achieve that COD.

At which stage of the project's development does CenterPoint want to transfer ownership? During development, NTP, COD?

CenterPoint is open to all projects at the different stages as long as the projects meet all requirements of the RFP.

Is CenterPoint or its affiliates publicly traded?

Yes, CenterPoint is publicly traded.
